ENCHANTED Princess, library?

I am one of those readers who likes to have a book in my hands when reading, and do not use a kindle or tablet to do so.   So...anyone who has been on the Enchanted Princess....is there an actual Library with an assortment of books to 'borrow'?   I'd rather not take up a lot of room (in my husband's suitcase, LOL) for enough paperbacks to satisfy my voracious habit for 20 days.

I was afraid that this might be the case, as bookshelves take up space that don't generate income, LOL.

No library on the Enchanted

No library, but the Patter does mention a book swap in one of the dining rooms…Santorini (I think). There are games, available there too.

We disembarked Enchanted last week and on sea days 9:30am - 10am they had a book swap session, I can't remember the venue.

 

We were on Enchanted in June and don't recall the swap being on the patter but DD ran out of books (bookworm) so we called to Guest services to ask about a library section. They brought her to the far end of the desk and popped about ten books on the counter for her to choose from.

On Enchanted no library. Guest Service has some books behind counter.

You can get books there and leave books for others. They had about 15,

I left 2 and took 1.  I never read about or saw a book swap.  Nice if their

doing that now.

No library on the Enchanted and there were no announced book swap events when were on board.

 

I’m curious, have you tried a Paperwhite Kindle? I was really resistant, but have come to really love mine. I can’t stand reading on a tablet, but the ability to read without a light and the small size make using a Kindle worth the negatives of giving up physical books.

 

If you haven’t tried it, it might be worth it, at least for traveling.

Thanks...I will definitely look out for that, and also check the Guest Service counter, once I've read one or two (i.e. after 2 or 3 days, LOL)

We've very often seen books on the counter at Guest Service's.
