main dining room reservations on Ascent

We are AquaClass and read we have to make arrangements to go to the other dining rooms with Blu staff. Is that true? How do you get in the various dining rooms. We are on the new ship in January.

You just show up at the MDR of your choice.  We were in Aqua Class and when we did not care for the menu in Blu for the night, we went to one of the MDR.   Just walked up and gave our room number.  Easy.

You can just go to one of the MDRs or you can tell the Blu host/hostess you will not be there the next evening and they won’t try and keep a table for you with the servers you have had on the other evenings.  
You don’t need their permission or them to make arrangements for you to go to on of the MDRs on Edge class ships but it is the courteous thing to do.
