From Somewhere in the South Pacific on Majestic Princess

Well, Majestic Princess is really rockin' and rollin' this afternoon, pouring rain and windy.

Captain announced today (different from the noon update) the Port of Auckland is closed due to high winds and Majestic Princess will be at anchorage until the port opens tomorrow. He did not have a time we will dock.  The weather event has moved much slower than expected.

Over 900 passengers are set to disembark, and a little over 100 will join the ship.

Majestic Princess will cancel her call to Tauranga, and spend the night alongside Auckland, once we can finally dock. We're guessing passengers who have to reschedule flights can use the ship as a hotel for the night, but not sure as we're continuing on to Sydney. A need of accommodation for hundreds of guests outweighs the hundred embarking?

Our Bay of Islands port of call is a wait and see situation, as it's nice weather forecast for our stop, but Mother Nature could have other ideas.

All in all, this has been a wonderful voyage, and highly recommend a Transpacific repositioning cruise.
