Single in a Double Bed

Generally, if a Single Oceanview is "waitlisted," what is the single supplement to book the Double Veranda or Oceanview? (100%?) Also, if waitlisted, is there a possibility Crystal will place the single guest in any available cabin, if no single cabin becomes available? (Is it like a guarantee?)

I have booked 2 cruises in a Double Oceanview as the Single was not available. I decided not to waitlist for the Single as it is unclear what Crystal will do. In both cases I paid 150% of the Double fare listed. The Single varies but has been around 120% of the Double fare. That is not to say that the 50% will always apply. I think it depends on how well the cruise is selling. So, I think the answer is "it depends".
