"Back to Back Cruises"....Do you have to get off the ship to reboard?

Thought I would post my recent experience on the Bliss. Did a 5 day Mexico and then B2B 15 day to Panama Canal.

as I had to change cabins (Haven to Club Balcony) I got luggage tags and it had my old cabin and new cabin number to be written on them. Left my luggage in the room and they transferred all my bags.

we got the information about the process, we had to go to guest services before 0830 to get our new key cards. Then no later than 0930 to meet in Maltings and wait there. We had 37 B2B passengers. Once the last passengers were off the ship approx 1000/1015 they escorted us off the ship, walked along an empty terminal, did the facial recognition and then walked us back on the ship, through the waiting passengers and up to the ship.

whole process took about 20-30mins. Would have been quicker but had some passengers with walking difficulties and had to stay as a group.

such a seamless process. Our new room got priority and our room had been cleaned by 11am and unpacked and got back to enjoying the cruise.

had to revisit the muster station but that takes minutes.

happy to answer any questions

We just returned from a B2B out of Galveston. Had to get new cards from customer service, same cabin both legs. Meeting time 10am improv, CBP came into room, checked passports, then left! 18 total on B2B. Check in at muster station then on our own
