5 Guests in a Room, different booking numbers?

Recommended Posts

So we just booked a Ocean View Panaorimic suite on Adventure of the Seas since this cabin holds up to 6 people. This will be our first time traveling as a family of 5, so I was surprised to see how they add the 5th person to the room. When I booked over the phone, I received 2 different confirmation numbers, the 1st one lists the 4 of us, and the 2nd one lists just our infant child. I called back and they told me that everything is fine and both are linked.

Is this normal? If you have more than 4 people in a room that allows it, will you receive 2 different confirmation numbers?

The key information is the reservations are linked. This means anything you do for one will happen for both, especially dinner reservations. All five people will be assigned to the same dinner table. If you make a specialty dinner reservation it will apply to all 5 people on the linked confirmation numbers.

Yep, this happened to us as well. My youngest (5 yo) was put on her own booking. Freaked me out for a minute but confirmed all of the details were the same and I was able to add her onto our reservation on the app for check in. Wish they made it easier to book/manage reservations for more than 4 people.
