Credit cards - Corfu

Hi - do most vendors accept credit cards? Taxis, bus, restaurants?

Yes, for Visa and MasterCard. American Express not so much.

As regards buses, I wouldn't get on a bus and expect to be able to wave my card and pay.  Unless things have changed, the local buses in Corfu Town take cash only onboard, or you can buy tickets in advance at booths or in shops (presumably some or all of these would take credit cards).

 

The cross-island buses let you buy a ticket on the bus or in the station. Not 100% sure that credit cards are accepted with the "on the bus" option.
