Hello to others that may be on this cruise.  Regent does not offer excursions in Fakarava, it’s a very small island/ atoll.

 

i have arranged a Blue Lagoon excursion, with a local operator, please see Roll Call for this cruise.  We need 8-10 perople to ensure this will start.

if you have expressed an interest thru the roll call please message me to re confirm you are still interested. I will then confirm with Ato.

We were in Fakarava in 2018 and a group set up a dive tour (probably the same thing you're looking at) and all said they loved it.  We didn't go, but we found that when you get off the ship you can rent bikes and ride the atoll.  We headed out and it was beautiful!  You can stop anywhere on the side of the road at small beaches and snorkel (we brought our own mask and snorkel).  We found a small cafe and had a beer.  We found a beautiful Coral Church.  Honestly, one of the best days of a fantastic cruise.

Yes aware of bike hire. The Blue Lagoon boat trip has amazing reviews, and get to snorkle on way back. Looking forward to seeing Fakarava and the waters there.
