Almost Gold

We're going to be hitting gold on our cruise next month on the second to last day of the cruise. I've read that that means we "should" be gold starting on the first day of the cruise and our S&S card would be gold. Is that right or did I misread something-I'm very good at that. I know it's not fancy like platinum or diamond, but I'm curious (and I mean free drink on the last night woot). Thanks 🙂

Guests graduating into a new level during a cruise will receive the benefits of the new level they are graduating into from the beginning of the cruise (e.g. those graduating to Gold on the 3rd day of a 5-day cruise will receive Gold benefits for the entire duration of their cruise). Please note that ‘debarkation day’ is not considered a ‘cruise day’, therefore, points are not earned for that day.

I turn gold on my next cruise (7 days to go), and my boarding pass does indeed say "Gold".

I'm Platinum and it's no big woop. Last cruise I got a drink coosie.
