3 Port Everglades hotels (17th Street) - Please comment?

Embassy Suites, Holiday Inn Express, Hyatt Place.

Anyone stay at either lately ? Much difference between the 3?? (does the Hyatt incl. free breakfast as well?)

We've stayed at the first 2, but its been a few years...so.......

Would appreciate comments - pro or con - from recent visitors....or anyone...😉

Hyatt Place - we stayed there three months ago.  Great location.  Free breakfast (just OK).  Rooms and hotel in general are a bit tired IMO.  Nice staff.  Shuttle from airport for a fee and also to pier (fee).

TONS of discussions here on that very subject. The Hyatt Place wins hands down. We've stayed there many times.  Check Valuetrips.com for scarily good pricing depending on the dates you want.  Note that the 17th St strip can be very expensive at certain times of the year depending on exactly when you want to stay.

We love the Holiday Inn Express on 17th street.  Updated room, close to grocery store, and Total Wine.  Also, a very easy walk to the port.

i agree...all properties are a bit worn. With so many cruises its bound to happen

Hyatt Place.

Hyatt Place, and I have been to all 3. For a great rate from May to November $109- $119 a night try Valutrips.com. Have used them 6-7 times over the years for this great rate. There are a few black out dates listed at the bottom. Most hotels in this area are $200 a night.

Hyatt place is fine especially when you can get a good price through value trips.com.Breakfast was mediocre .Embassy suites has a fabulous breakfast and the rooms are fine but the rates tend to be higher,

But you have to wait in a line of about 50-60 people, and its not that much better. Plus on Cruise morning the elevators are absolutely a joke. Too many people at E.S. for us. Our bathroom 2 years ago was filthy.
