Can I Purchase More Onboard Credit Before We Sail?

We have sailed 75 times on other cruise lines, mostly Holland America. Our first Celebrity cruise is in March. On the other lines we can purchase more Onboard Credit for our cruises before we sail. I thought I saw it was available also on Celebrity one time when managing our reservation, but can't find it again. Is this possible to do on Celebrity?

I think the point of it is so other can buy for you but it looks like it is an option.

If it is for you you could just bring the cash and put it on your account and then it would be refundable vs buying non refundable OBC.  Or just buy what you want with the CC you would have used to buy the OBC.

Why would you need to buy it ?

Sometimes, the exchange rate can be in your favour!( GB pound to US dollars).

I once wanted a new iPad, so I kept checking the exchange rate and saved may 🇬🇧 £.

I not checked for quite a few years.

If you buy OBC using this method it is the refundable kind.  If not used by the end of the sailing you can ask for the remainder in cash at Guest Services or it will be refunded to the credit card on file.
