Warranty for watch purchased onboard

By any chance has anyone submitted a claim for Jewlery or a watch that was purchased onboard a princess ship? Customer service seemed clueless,

Wouldn't it be a manufacturer warranty? 

If I purchase an item at a store, I don't return to them for repairs handled under the warranty.

Yes there is a manufacturer warranty, but I think it’s only one year. Both on the ship and on the website, a five year warranty by Princess is included.

Sorry my response was probably not clear. Princess provides a five year warranty on certain items purchased  on the ship. The warranty is advertised both in the store and on the website. The princess warranty is in addition to the manufacture warranty,

Don't purchase from the Shops of Princess, but the Princess USA website has the number below listed as the contact for aftercare.  No firsthand experience myself.  Don't even know who answers that number or if it's still even active.

Phone number is out of service. I emailed customer service and will report back if I hear anything
