Bologna Hotel Recommendations

[Lost in Italy]

As we will be flying into Bologna for cruise out of Ravenna, I am seeking hotel recommendations for Bologna. Thinking of booking near Piazza Maggiore.  Also interested in walking food tour.

Hotel Cavour. We were booked but had to cancel one week prior due to medical emergency, but my  friends stayed there and loved it. They also said it was a great location and rooms verynice.
