One of my sisters and I enjoy gambling. I haven't been on a ship since 2018 with my husband when we travelled on the Celebrity Summit. We are cruising with Princess on Enchanted this Summer. My sister doesn't want the gambling to go on her credit card. I can't for the life of me remember how we paid for gambling on a cruise ship. Can we bring a cash amount and put that on our casino account to gamble with? Thanks to anyone who can give me a quick reminder of how it works to pay for gambling. Happy travels!

You can charge your play to your account which goes to your credit card on file, you can put cash on your account, or if you are playing table games you can exchange cash at the table for chips or charge them to your account.

Just be sure you cash out your account or cash in your chips before the casino closes on the last night of your cruise.

We are actually looking at a cruise on Celebrity Summit this fall. Never been on Celebrity but we have always wanted to try it out. I know it’s one of the older ships but we are thinking of giving it a go.

You will enjoy the Enchanted - beautiful ship!

You can use cash (not coins) in the machines. Be sure to use your card to set up a casino account, because any amounts that you cash out from an all cash session will go there. In future sessions, you can use that balance and/or add more cash.

I've been on the Summit four times, which is more than I've been on any other cruise ship. I will be sailing on her again next week. Though it's now over 20 years old, I have always seen it as well maintained. It also got a big update about 5 years ago. I think you'll enjoy the ship. Celebrity is a good cruise line once you get onboard. You'll have to ignore some of their decisions at the top.

Found it Ocean Players Club – Global Casino Rewards Program

It does say this in the correspondence:

Please note: At the end of every voyage, we process any funds that were left in the player's bank account. Funds in excess of $25 will automatically be issued via a check to the address we have on file in a Carnival Cruise Line envelope.
Any balance below $25 will be processed manually upon request

If you still have not received the outstanding balance check, and it is outside of the 6 weeks, please submit a new request: Balance Inquiry. Our agents will review your case and advise any updates regarding your check.

Please provide the correct mailing address within the form to verify it was sent to the correct address.

Thank you for the link! I filled it out and fingers crossed.  I also had refundable onboard credit left over, I thought that would go back on my credit card, but after everyone's responses maybe a check will be mailed.

The slots and tables gladly accept cash.

I'm almost certain you'll get a refund by check for your refundable OBC. I haven't heard of anyone receiving refundable OBC on their credit card.
