Galapagos: Silversea, Celebrity (or other luxury) : best time to book/discounts?

Hi,

I am looking into galapagos cruises and particularly the celebrity flora or silversea origin. These trips are incredibly expensive and as a newbie I am wondering if there best time to book these really pricey cruises or ways to reduce the overal costs. Is it better to wait longer and see if they have cabins left or book as soon as they release the trip, and if so, when do they usually release these trips?

Also, if anyone has suggestion on other more affordable options for the galapagos, I am interested. I dont need the whole butler experience but I do like a balcony and a modern boat. Looking at the pricing of the mid range boats, it was still expensive but much less nice than the flora.
