MSC and Aurea cruising together

Hello! 

This is my first time on MSC, so apologies if this has been answered before. We have a YC cabin, but our friends were not able to get one (sold out) and were not able to get an upgrade either :(.

Can we (YC) join our Aurea friends for dinner in the regular dining room? Or our only options to eat together are buffet and specialty restaurants?

Also, would we (YC) have access to Aurea area on deck 19?

I don't know about being able to eat in the main dining room, but you do have access to the Aurea deck. At least that was my experience on the Seaside. You walked out of the YC pool area straight into the Aurea area so that would be convenient in your case.

Talk to your Concierge and they can arrange with the MDR Matradee so you can dine in the Aurea MDR. I would not show up unannounced.

Just off seaside 3 days ago.

Yes you can use aurea and yes you can eat in aurea restaurant. We did show up unanounced with friends (we ate in YC first)

Bumped into them and we only had desert, but we just showed our YC cards and it was no issue.
