I hope you're right. My mom isn't typically a fan of modern remakes. She did like the Johnny Depp remake and that was silly to me so Maybe this will be ok.

My mom the social butterfly is making friends again....slowing down my meal service though 😆 

 

Branzino was quite tasty. Waiter offered to skin it, no need I ate it all. Very nice fish.

 

Rigatoni for my mom and I got the lamb in phyllo 835.

That lamb was better than I expected. Better than the lamb wellington I had at 150 Central Park on Oasis. The lamb was super tender and a nice hearty gravy. The dough held its crispy well, did not get mushy. It had a nice seasoning to it as well. Very good.

I have not gambled in a long time on Royal, guess I haven't made it on the list again yet. Only offer is the lousy comp for one, pay for second guest. I could probably use that my mom would pay her own fare, but it is all from Ft. Lauderdale and Miami, and she would have no interest in sailing from there when she lives so close to Port Canaveral.

My dessert was another winner. Very nice flavor with real peaches. Sort of like a cobbler but much better.

 

Silent disco is tonight so that is on my agenda. I need to charge up my phone for a few minutes then I will head out for the evening.
