Carnival Jubilee Inside Cabin 12287 or 14229 - Shorter, "Boxier" configuration, Advice Appreciated

Recommended Posts

Hello my fellow cruisers!    I am been on many Princess cruises, and I am going on my first Carnival Cruise in August...I have a question about rooms.  I will have an inside room.  I didn't want an adjoining door, so they gave me the option of 12287 or 14229 - both are "different" on the map.  They appear shorter than the other inside rooms, but boxier (more square).  They say it's the same square footage.

Can someone tell me the difference, and if you think I should stay away from these rooms, the boxier, shorter ones (all inside)

Thank you for any advice for this really novice Carnival cruiser...

Hi Jessica!

Not many photos of cabins on this ship (I guess Jubilee is pretty new in the fleet?), but I found this YouTube of a 'square' cabin:

that might give you an idea.

The square-r insides on HAL are well thought of.

There is a video of 12287 on Mardi Gras on Cruisedeckplans.com.  If you google Mardi Gras 12287 you can probably find it.  There are also videos of other square cabins, too.  EM
