Emerald Destiny - Dining Room Table Size Question

We are a party of 8 - just booked last minute late June sailing.

Looking at the deck plans - appears tables accommodate 6 - anyone with experience if table can accommodate 8 traveling together?

Maybe 2 4-tops pushed together?  Have your TA contact Emerald beforehand to make dining arrangements for your group.

We've been on Emerald a number of times and once there was a group...I think they just met onboard, they didn't come on as a group... of 9 or 10. Can't remember the name of the ship but I think they spoke to the restaurant manager about sitting together and towards the back of the restaurant they put the tables together to accommodate them. I don't think you'll have any problems with the 8 of you sitting together.

You may have trouble hearing each other at a table that large.

TY so much everyone - assumed there would not be an issue - but never know. We have only sailed on AMA a few years back (in terms of river sailings) so no experience with Emerald.
