We did a bus tour in Aruba that I thought was too long (4 hrs). I was bored.
I enjoyed our Curaçao excursion that was about a 2 hr tour and 2 hrs at Mambo beach.
Dont remember names but both booked through Royal. We did Hideaway Beach on Cococay, and everyone but me did jet ski excursion.

But, while my husband LOVES Playmakers, I wouldn't want to give up the Pub.

The beauty of Odyssey is she has both.

EDIT: And I like Odyssey's pub the best because they do great munchies unlike any other ship that I know.

I thought Odyssey had a retractable roof over one of the pools? Thinking

of booking for March from NY. One more question: are the buffet dinners in Windjammer similar to what’s offered in the MDR? And can you view menu in advance?

Odyssey has a canopy over the Solarium which has hot tubs but no pool. I'm not sure if it opens. There are windows that slide open but staff comes around and closes them and tells people not to open them as it interferes with the climate control. I opened one once just to take a picture and a crew member was right on me.

I really like Odyssey's pub too. It has a good location and if you don't want to pay for snacks in there then Sorrento's is right around the corner.

I forgot that Sorrento's was right there as well. If I remember correctly that particular Sorrentos was pretty good too.
