Car rental drop off near Port Everglades terminal

Avis snd Enterprise have separate, stand-alone locations focused on Port Everglades.

The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is adjacent to Port Everglades. It's rental car center, with all the usual and some other companies is about a 10 minute (or less, depending on terminal number) ride/drive to/from the cruise ships.

Free shuttles between Port Everglades and the airport are NOT provided.

Safe travels!

Avis and Budget share the same building just outside the Port Everglades gate on Miami Road. They offer a comp shuttle to your ship terminal.

If you're a Costco member check out their rates online.

Thank you.  That is very helpful. Since we arrive mid-morning the day before our cruise, by renting a car, we can stay further from the port and save some money plus be able to drive somewhere for dinner.  The rental cost is just about what 2 taxis or Ubers would cost.  There was a big difference between Avis and Budget

Also make sure you're aware of any parking charge at the hotel you choose.

We opt for the Hyatt Place (SE 10th Ave location)...no charge for guest parking and it's in a great pre-cruise location. Look at pricing this hotel on ValueTrips.

I think parking there is $10 + tax per day.
