Book Excursion Now and Cancel / Rebook On Ship with OBC

Recommended Posts

We are headed on our honeymoon in June and will have enough OBC from our TA to cover a couple of excursions.  My challenge is that I would like to go ahead and book the excursion now, but the OBC is obviously not yet available.

I am wondering if I can book (and pay for) excursions prior to boarding and then cancel once on board and rebook using the OBC?

If it is possible, will RCL refund my card or just put it towards OBC?

I suppose another option is to use charge casino credits to the stateroom and then use the OBC to offset?  Is that possible?

TIA

The prices in the planner are likely lower than on board. Simply cash out your OBC at casino. Most cancellations on board end being credited as refundable OBC.

I agree with Biker.
Personally, I elect not to prepay gratuities; paying on board gratuities can consume a lot of OBC.

It is, but we prepaid gratuities prior to the increase.

Thank you CC for alerting me to that.  🙂

Ok we generally use our OBC for that but if we have refundable OBC left over we might use it for specialty dining, or cash out at guest services.
