Cruising on Seascape in Royal Suite

Will be cruising on the Seascape in a royal suite (16026)  out of Galveston in about 18 months or so and had a couple of questions.  I looked on youtube and saw a few things but wanted to ask to verify.

  • One video mentioned that those staying in Royal Suite and/or Owners Suite had reserved cabanas on the YC deck.  Are they marked so I'll know which one is mine?  I know there seems to be plenty of space but was just wondering.
  • I saw several places where it was mentioned that we would receive one bottle of "spirits" in the room.  Is this in addition to the bottle of chapagne/sparkling wine left in each room on Embarkation?

Really looking forward to the Butlers.  We have sailed previously on the NCL Dawn in the Owners Suite (2 balconies) but never really had the full butler service that escorted you everywhere.  Thanks for any input/suggestions.

You tell your butler or a pool attendant which cabana/pergola that you want. The "reserved" sign will be placed on the table and it will show that it is "Reserved for Royal Suite 16***" (whichever one is yours). That will be yours for the remainder of the cruise.

You will get several full-sized bottles that will be replaced or exchanged without charge.

Take home whatever you want.

Wow, nice.  I thought it was only the one bottle.  I saw a few clips that had several bottles and some that had none.  Thanks for the help.  We are looking forward to it.

Here's an example of what I had a few months ago. In addition, whatever is in the mini-fridge will also be replenished without charge. Just tell your butler what you want more or less of.

So this was all in the royal suite? Very, very nice. I would probably replace the gin for whiskey/rum but still very nice.

It's not always the same selection. Whatever happens to be there is..... there.

Exchanging for something else that is in stock shouldn't be a problem. With it being so easy to get a drink at the various bars on the ship, you don't really think too much about what you have in the suite. It's just nice to have at your disposal.

And they really let you take home what you don't use??

@morpheusofthesea can comment on that topic. He and his wife return home with all their bottles, if I recall correctly.

We wrap them 'gingerly' with our clothing and pack them 2 bottles to a suitcase to disperse the added weight. Usually 6 suitcases will suffice. " The towels are so thick I could hardly close my suitcase". Yogi Berra

Sounds like I may need to bring an extra suitcase.  Good thing I live in Houston so don't have to worry about flying. 😊

That is what MSC is counting on by positioning ships at main US ports, less headaches with the unreliable airlines.

I assume it should be possible, but there will be three of us in the suite.  Will it be possible to get a 3rd robe/slippers set for the 3rd person sailing in the suite with us?

I know silly problems.

They should already be in suite when you arrive, all 3 pairs and 3 robes. Maybe even an extra bottle of liquor or Prosecco.
