aharcall Posted April 29, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 29, 2006 Have just got home from watching the Freedom of the seas sail through the Solent in between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. She is on her way right now towards Southampton. Looks absolutely fabulous - the mini hump is very distinctive. Am going on her in August and am so excited. Might drive up to Southampton some time at the weekend to see her closer up.
Catseyes Posted April 29, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 29, 2006 Have just watched this magnificent ship dock in Southampton on TV. She is such a beautiful ship. I do envy anyone who will be sailing on her. Wish you all a wonderful time.:)

HumanCookie Posted April 29, 2006 Author #9 Share Posted April 29, 2006 terry and alex -- what is that crazy ship locator thing? Is there a link for it? I would love to take a look. :D Oh, and thanks for posting. It is called "AIS", you have to sign-up to be a member. There are two type one through paid membership and the other is through public free site. The public is one hour delayed, while the paid one is realtime with description of the vessel and where it came from and where it is heading next. http://aisfree.aislive.com/Influx.aspx Likewise, another neat site is this, http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/cruiseships.phtml
