itzkaren Posted April 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2006 Sorry......didn't do a search.......but we're leaving in the morning....I need a quick answer! Can we use cash in the casino? Just sit down at the blackjack table with a $100 bill.......instead of adding it to the S&S card? For some reason, I don't remember asking this before! Thanks for any info! In 48 hours.....I'll know for sure.....BECAUSE I'LL BE THERE!!!
cowman1999 Posted April 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2006 on the two cruises i've been on cash has always been accepted. I think if you take it off your S & S card, there is a 3% charge as well..
CTMak Posted April 30, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 30, 2006 Yes, they will give you chips at the table in return for cash. In fact, it's what the vast majority of people do. If you add it to your S&S card I beleive there is a 3% fee. (Like an ATM fee.) You cash out at the cashier just like any casino. In fact, it operates like any land based casino -- except drinks are NOT free. Good luck! CTMak

CTMak Thanks for the "confirmation".........that's what I thought I read, in a long-ago post.......and I remembered the 3% fee on the S&S card...........for my "gambling entertainment fees"........I definitely want to play with cash! Just finishing the final touches of packing.......and will start the long drive (7 hr) to Long Beach THANK YOU for the great info!!!
MERVYN BREMMER Posted April 30, 2006 #5 Share Posted April 30, 2006 Yep the casino is all cash....but what everyone hasn't mentioned and in my personal experiance it takes lots and lots and lots and lots of cash:eek: :D
itzkaren Posted April 30, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted April 30, 2006 lol.......I know Merv......those "entertainment costs", as I like to refer to my gambling money can add up........that's why I figured if I start with cash.......hopefully won't have to move to the next "level" and use the S&S card! I'm more of a card player (BlackJack, 3-card poker) instead of slots.......heard those are really tight.......but I figure "cards are cards" no matter where they deal them. Either way........it's going to be fun!!!! Thanks for the tips! (Oh, that's a different thread! =-)
JPH814 Posted April 30, 2006 #7 Share Posted April 30, 2006 If you get a cash advance from the Ocean Players CLub, is there also a 3% fee?
