Noordam in Alaska next year

The Mariner magazine indicates that the Noordam will sail out of Seattle to Alaska beginning in May of 2007.

 

I am very happy about this as My wife and I only sail out of Seattle because of a illness my wife has which precludes us from flying to other cities. We live only 60 miles south of Seattle so we can drive to the pier.

 

This means that we will be able to sail on the beautiful new Noordam.

 

We are sailing next week on the Oosterdam and can hardly wait.

Yes it is true that the Noordam will be sailing out of Seattle in 2007 for the Alaskan season. The Westerdam is heading to Europe for a dry dock.

Wait until you see what a pretty ship Noordam is!!! You'll be thrilled to be able to board her in Seattle and enjoy a great cruise on her. She really is gorgeous in my (totally unbiased ;) ) opinion. :)

Does that mean there will be a Noordam Panama Canal cruise to get it to Seattle? That's a cruise we have been wanting to do....

Yes, Joni, the Noordam leaves NYC and picks up more passengers in Ft Lauderdale. We booked the cruise about two months ago and will board in Florida. We also were on the inaugural sailing of the Noordam out of NYC.

This sounds like a great cruise, but unfortunately the dates don't work for us as we will have to pick up DS from college the somewhere around May 7th.
