Lifts on Sun!

I have noticed a lot of people talk about having a higher level deck etc to save walking up the stairs, because they found the lifts too slow. There are usually 4 lifts to choose from and I never found any hassles with them except when it was time to leave after the show etc. I was actually impressed with how quick the lifts get you from floor to floor. I didn't find having to wait for them any worse than my shopping centre lifts, in fact the ships lifts were better. Mind you, I did use the stairs towards the end but that was because of the waistline problem after such wonderful food choices!!!;)

this cruise is full,the lifts are always in use and many times you give up waiting and use the stairs.

I never even tried the lifts so can't comment on them. I made a point of using the stairs to countereact all the wine I was drinking:eek: .

I should have used the stairs, might have not gained the 4 kgs I'm trying to get rid of!

i dont think i ever used the lifts on the Star. i found i could stroll up the stairs from the dining room level and still beat everyone to the lido deck.

good way of keeping the pounds from stacking on :D

Just remember you can't use the centre lifts (or centre stairs) to get to the restaurants on Pacific Sun as they go up the middle of the galley between the two restuarants.

I always used the lifts unless I was only travelling down 1-2 floors. I didn't find the wait long at all.
