pacemaker

Doing a back to back on the Sun next month. This is my 1st cruise since I had a pacemaker/defibrillator implanted in my chest. I know what to do at the airport but will I have to go through a song and dance routine every time I get on or off the ship? Any others with this problem?

I don't know about the pacemaker but it is much easier on the cruise ship with artificial joints than at the airport. I was only wanded once on the initial boarding. After that they seemed to recognize me and knew what would happen when I went through the screening machine. I've got artificial knees and my husband has stints in his coronary arteries so we always get the full screen at the airport.
