Sold out Alaska excursion opening up?

So, I tried to book the "White Pass Railway and Laughton Glacier Wilderness Hike" excursion during our Sun cruise to Alaska in a month, and I guess it's already sold out. (I received an email confirmation from NCL, but it was blank - I had to call them to figure out what was going on....).

 

Anyway, what are the chances that excursions open up? My husband and I really wanted to do that excursion (it was the only one we were going to do - they're all so expensive!), but I suppose we'll just select something else. Now I'm just afraid we're too late and everything else is sold out as well...

You might want to visit the ALASKA boards listed under Ports Of Call. You will find lots of tour information and even links on how to book this yourself, usually for a lot less money.

 

And yes, they may have openings once you are on the ship, or they may try to get another one going.

The cruiselines usually will hold 30% of their excursions to sell onboard. See the excursion desk as soon as you get on and you may be lucky. Good Luck!
