Comet Cruiser Posted June 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2006 Hi, We need some help in trying to find a hotel CLOSE as possible to the Cape Liberty pier. We are driving down the day before our cruise this September and would like to book a hotel online asap. Being from Ontario, we are not familiar at all with the New Jersey area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks:) Comet Cruiser Gail

BlueHerons Posted June 22, 2006 #6 Share Posted June 22, 2006 Thanks so much EVERYONE for your help! I didn't realize there was a separate place to go to check out hotels:o . Take care and happy cruising Comet Cruiser Gail Either the Doubletree or Hyatt Jersey City or the Sheraton Weehawken. If at all possible, I would avoid Newark Airport hotels as the area is rather seedy.

thereuare Posted June 23, 2006 #8 Share Posted June 23, 2006 It also depends upon what you're looking to do with your pre-cruise stay... do you arrive late and just need a place to sleep the nite before your cruise OR are you looking to be 'out and about' and visit Manhattan?
