Freedom's Maiden Voyage ~ review by Emmy

Emmy, such a wonderful review, it made me feel like I was there again....

What's the matter nanc... do you have another cold?:D At the time when I booked the Oct 15 one I thought it would be nice to do again and experience a C&A cruise.. I am so glad I booked it on July 1, 2005.

 

Keep it in mind Oct. 15..I am sure when final payment comes around there will be some cabins... about end of July first of August

As for the final payments, I was thinking that too. I'm not sure our friends, who are scheduled to go with us on what was supposed to be our first Freedom experience in December, would forgive us if we went on two sailings prior to our "special" trip with them. Unfortunately, I don't think they could/would go in October.

 

I am not ready to rule the October sailing out quite yet though. We will see, stranger things have happened!

Emmy, you make 9/24 seem so far away!!! Cannot wait to go. Seems you all had a great time. I will spend time exploring the ship since we have done the ports many times. We have done 30+ cruises and this seems like a real winner, although aren't they all?

Em...I was determined to read your review prior to going to bed this evening. I knew it would be fabulous! I had started on a review when we got back but then got swamped at work and with home chores so never finished it. I knew you were doing one though so I knew you would have all the important points covered. (Had just thought I would add a few different perspectives.) But no need because you basically covered it all! Way to go Em!

Hi Ski ~ like your idea about you perserving your boa and poem :) and oh yes loved Mr. Ski's comment in the Miami Herald article... Voyager on steroids:) :)

 

You heard and or read that the poem is on display.. a fellow CC poster reported back to the board about it.

It was my understanding that Captain Bill Wright was only on board for the first two sailings and that Captain Carlos Perdecini would be the Captain after that... I think Ken Rush should be there in 5 weeks..not sure if he will be the CD in October when I sail her again

Carlos Pedercini was Captain and James Andrews was the cruise director. ;)

 

BTW, I saw the poem on Freedom of the Seas by Guest Relations. I took a couple pictures of it.

Matisse ~ my only experience in the casino came on the last evening on the ship. The photo centre is right outside the Casino and after buying some photos I lost my husband so went to the slots and managed to win $50.00.. many others in our CC group had more experiences than I.
