greg2004 Posted July 2, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2004 Everything was very good. I think Princess does an excellent job of showing 2000+ people a good time. My only complaint is why in the world did they choose to stop at Isla Margarita? We took the Macamao Peninsula 4WD excursion. It was interesting, but we found absolutely no reason to ever want to go to this island again. Surely there are better choices. This impoverished desert island is totally without tourist facillities or experience in dealing with visitors. The main impression we were left with was a thankfulness that we are not in the economic position of most of those we saw living there. Our favorite excursion was the Nevis Sailaway from St. Kitts. Really outstanding.

coiran Posted July 2, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 2, 2004 Princess often stops ata "nothing" island for cheap fuel - did you notice if they were refueling?
greg2004 Posted July 2, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted July 2, 2004 I noticed a barge being held to the side of the ship by a tug. Do barges contain fuel? I have read that fuel is very cheap in Venezuela (which has soveriegnty over Isla Margarita) since they are an oil producer. I am so sure I misspelled "soveriegnty".
