Latrobean Posted July 13, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2006 Hi all...Does anyone have any info on shuttles from the Ft Lauderdale airport to Port of Miami? Thanks
punkinheads Posted July 13, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 13, 2006 Carnival offers a shuttle for $20 one way pp. But it is generally cheaper to rent a car and drop it off in Miami. Enterprise does not charge a drop fee and will shuttle you to the port for free. I am using them for $31. Then you can sightsee as well. Good Luck! Bequia Posted July 13, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 13, 2006 Tri County Airport Express, $18 per person. ;) When you arrive at the airport, collect your luggage and go outside the baggage claim area, lower level, curbside, contact one of the starters (customer services reps.) wearing a white shirt with "AIRPORT EXPRESS" in red on the back of the shirt and an emblem on the sleeve and over the breast pocket. Let the starter know what service you are interested in and he/she will assist you http://floridalimo.com/Pages/sharedr.html
Nebr.cruiser Posted July 13, 2006 #4 Share Posted July 13, 2006 We used a limo, which was cost-effective for us since there were 7 in our group. And a lot of fun, too! I think we used Larry's Limos and it cost about $90 plus tip (we gave $20) one way. They were right at the airport and after the cruise (we stayed in Miami an extra night) picked us up at our hotel. Will Enterprise pick you up at the ship and shuttle you over to get a rental car for the day? That would solve all our problems.
