What kind of water is in destiny pool?

The pools are drained each evening and filled each morning so the water temperature will vary. Sailing in warmer water means swimming in warmer pool water.

I think that its a great idea to drain them daily. I have never seen anything but a salt water pool on a ship

When I was on the Glory, one fine morning some kid ate all the bacon he wanted to, probably for the first time in his life.

He flarfed it into the aft pool.

The pool staff had the pool drained, cleaned, refilled, and re-opened in less than two hours.
