Thanks so much.Donna hmmm, we have 6381 which is a true handicapped cabin on the Liberty (which is supposed to be a sister ship) and it dont look to be much different on the deck plans. (what does a HC cabin on the deck plans look like?)
torybruno Posted September 9, 2007 #29 Share Posted September 9, 2007 DND - my sons had 6286 on the Valor, and it was indeed a handicap cabin. We did not request it, it was assigned to them through our group booking. Actually if you are not looking for a handicap cabin, I would not request it, the bathroom takes up a third of the cabin. serene56 Posted September 9, 2007 #30 Share Posted September 9, 2007 We are going on the Conquest Oct 8 and we have a 6B room 2284 is this a good location or should we be concerned? Pay no attention to the above poster. Ships sailing today do not have steerage. your cabin is above a deck with cabin space and below the shore excursion desk. you are conveniently located midship by the stairs/elevators. It is a good cabin
bism45014 Posted September 10, 2007 #31 Share Posted September 10, 2007 We are traveling on Glory with 3 kids. The 2 year will stay with us in 6442 and the 2 others (15 & 10) across the hall. I asked the PVP at Carnival and she insisted the room has a sofa and the 2 year old could sleep on that or we could use a porta-crib. Will the room have space for a porta-crib and does it have a sofa? thanks in advance.

Cant imagine where the sofa would go in that room there is no space for it. a port a crib can be used - I would put it in the hall way- it will fit there with plenty of room to get around it. Putting it in the cabin will take up all your floor space. (personally - for me.. i would be asking for a cabin off the back of the ship if any are available. the room is going to be quite a tight fit for three of you there. kiki&oz Posted August 25, 2009 #33 Share Posted August 25, 2009 anyone ever booked conquest 8B #6380?
serene56 Posted August 25, 2009 #34 Share Posted August 25, 2009 6380 is a good location- the other side of the ship outsidee the casino A band sets up and does not start playing until 9pm. your are ontop of the arcAde and should not expect noise from that area. We love the aft cabins but money dictates where we stay this time. We booked 6445- cant see spending extra money to move midship.
MamaTene Posted February 23, 2010 #35 Share Posted February 23, 2010 We were just upgraded by Carnival a from standard balcony guarantee to 7228 on the Glory sailing April 4. From what I have read here, seems we REALLY lucked out!
jdischy Posted February 23, 2010 #36 Share Posted February 23, 2010 Does anyone know anything about cabin 1202 on the glory? It is sold as an inside cabin but it's actually on the outside. I'm assuming it doesn't have windows and that's why it's considered an inside cabin.
pinkbarbie Posted February 23, 2010 #37 Share Posted February 23, 2010 If you go to http://www.seauondboard.com There is a very well compiled list of good and not so desirable cabins. including the bonuses and the ones with a lot of noise. MamaTene Posted February 23, 2010 #38 Share Posted February 23, 2010 WOW...looks like we really made a great deal to move to 7228. Thanks Carnival for the offer! According to the SeaUOnboard site: 7228 is a Cat. 11 suite that is handicapped accessible and I’ve been told it is huge as the white area forward of the cabin on deck plan is actually part of the cabin

wild hogs Posted April 7, 2010 #40 Share Posted April 7, 2010 I saw your post and it has been a while ago, I am booked on glory 6303 and 6305. I wanted to know if you heard noise from the lounges and bars on deck 5 below it?
MamaTene Posted April 16, 2010 #41 Share Posted April 16, 2010 All I can say is IF you ever are offered opportunity to move to this cabin..JUMP ON IT! It is a handicap accessible cabin that Glory hold back assigning in the event that someone truly has need for it. If no one has booked it by about a month out, they offer it as an upsell. Such a spacious room..almost 500 sq ft! The bathroom alone was bigger than my first cabin on the Norway!
SunniLicious Posted April 16, 2010 #42 Share Posted April 16, 2010 3 conquest-class ships used to have them, but now Liberty is all by her lonesome in having Family Oceanview Rooms on the spa deck. A smidge larger than standard oceanview at 230 sq feet, and all feature floor-to-ceiling windows with a great sitting area.
