New Ships - How far out do bookings start?

Carnival Splendor. Assuming she debuts in a similar fashion to Carnival Freedom next year, she should make her maiden voyage sometime around March, 2008. As Mrs. Parrot's birthday is in March (Carnival Triumph, 3/10/07, here we come), and 2008 is a biggie for her (40!), we're looking at doing something spectacular for it, and the possibility of taking a Med cruise on the maiden voyage of Splendor is high on the list.

 

With that in mind, does anyone know how far in advance we might start seeing the initial itineraries for Splendor? Or how far in advance Freedom started booking, which might give us an idea?

They usually start it seems around 16 months out... however, the Freedom schedule came out late, so that might be the beginning of a trend. So it could be anytime now, or spring of next year when we start to see something, hopefully soon...
