Question for Returning Island Princess Cruisers

We just returned from our 15 day cruise on the Island Princess, and it was a FABULOUS cruise.. we enjoyed everything about it, the meals were awesome.. the entertainment brought on the ship was great.. the Princess singers and dancers put on several shows that were incredible. The entertainment that is always onboard, were enjoyed so many nights, before retiring to our staterooms. The wait staff was very pleasant, and courteous, and altho we had some seas that were pretty rough leaving LA, the rest of the cruise was incredible.

Hoping that everyone who takes this cruise, will have as great a time as we did. I have just looked at the Patter, and while in Honolulu, the ship had a show in the Princess Theater that night. It was THE HALAU, HULA OLANA, FOLKLORIC SHOW. It showed 2 times, once at 7pm and another show at 8:45pm.. Happy cruise!!!

In January the show times for "The Halau Hula Olana Folkloric Show" were 7 PM and 8:45 PM. Be sure to get there early, because it plays to a packed house. Still and video cameras are permitted.

If you have not heard what the show is:

Yes, it is a hula show, but not what you might be expecting.

The dancers are aged 7-17, and are amazingly graceful. The musical accompaniment is simple - 2 ukuleles and 2 vocalists. The introduction speech tells the audience that they are performing traditional hula dances to traditional music. The troupe has performed all over the world, and have won international awards.

It really is worth getting back aboard early enough to see this show.

Enjoy!
