Osaka Port to Osaka Domestic Airport (Itami)

Has anyone done this ?

 

The airport bus from the Port does not run to Itami airport it only seems to operate to the International Aitport

 

 

The only connection to Itami airport we can find runs from Universal Studios

and how we get there is a big ??????????

 

We have to get a flight across Japan from Osaka to Tokyo to connect with our flight home to London

If this board doesn't provide the answer you need - I would check out the Asia part of the Fodors board. That board helped a lot with my trip to Japan earlier in the year.

 

Hopefully there is a limobus stop that goes to the airport you want close by.

Check out the trains. They are unbelievable in Japan and usually very convenient. If all else fails catch a cab. They are like ants crawling everywhere in Japan. And you'll love the niftly self opening doors. Google the cities website. I'd bet they have an English version. Itami used to be the international airport before they built the new. I promise you there is a way to get there.

Looks like the monorail goes right to the airport. You'll just have to figure out how to get to the monorail from where you'll be.

When you fly into to Tokyo, are you sure you'll be landing at Narita? Most domestic flights fly into Haneda. You may have to catch a train or bus to Narita if that is the case. Don't want to increase your stress level here but thought I would mention it.
