Do you have to be a guest of the hotel to use there or can you buy a pass? Has anyone done them-- fun?

Absolutely. Actually it is very hard to get outside to the pools without staying at the hotel. Many posters have booked rooms at the Comfort Suites which offers access to Atlantis.

Yes, they are lots of fun. You need to book a room there or at Comfort Suites for approxiamtely $270 by the time you pay housekeeping charge, etc.

darn it I wanted to go down those things but no way I would pay 270 to do it, we are only paying 189 each for the cruise. Any other super excursions other than the standard ones anyone would recommend?

Here how we looked at it. There was there was 4 of us. An excursion, say the wave runner at CocoCay for 1 hr. is $89 or Discover Atlantis for $54 for 2.5 hours or $78 for 6 hours. There is also Sting Ray Express at $72 for three hours. A room at $270 ($75) didn't seem to bad. You have the whole day to use the facilities. You can also go back and shower if you like. They are really lots of fun.

The other thing we considered, are we going to do this again? Probably not with our 17 DS and 25 DD. Just something to think about.

We paid $425 pp on a June 4 nighter. We are doing the same one in Dec. at $200 pp. Prices sure vary.

Not sure when your cruise is, but the cost for a room at Comfort Inn could be different.

we are on the Majesty which arrives in Nassau at 8am andd leaves at 5pm, most hotels do not even allow you to check in until 3 so I am not sure how this could even be done?

You can check in as soon as you arrive. You probaby wont get your room right away but who cares. You're not there for the room!

This is my logic too! Our CS room breaks down to $60/person. Hey, we would have spent that much or more on another excursion that wouldn't even cover the whole day, so its way worth it to us!

I agree with 4merlurker. We were able to check in right away, about 10, and were given a room right away.
