Cozumel! Belize doesn't lend itself well to "shopping around". Cozumel, on the other hand, has lots to choose from. I'm a big fan of Tanya Moss, located in the shopping center at Puerto Languesta (spelling???) pier.

Also check on the ship as well. I don't know if they will match prices but I have heard that some cruiselines will guarantee your purchase for one year if you buy it on the ship.

My spouse was on a Mex. Riveriera cruise with her friend and saw what she says was some beautiful opal jewelry. SHe did not buy it and is now sorry. We will be in Cozumel early Dec. Any suggestions on some good, locally owned jewelry stores? We typically stay away from anything near the dock or on the Princess recommended list.

we always shop at rachat and ramero. wife loves to pick her stone and setting and pick up after a few drinks around the plaza.
