Cruising to Cozumel on Chemo

I will be traveling with my sister who is currently undergoing chemotherapy. I wondered if anyone knows about the safety of eating/drinking in Cozumel. Should it be safe for her to eat there? Or should she stick with the ship food?

With a compromised immune system, I would HIGHLY suggest staying away from all food that's off the ship. Believe me, you do not want to take the chance of any kind of bacteria, bug or parasite that goes with many areas outside the US. Even completely healthy people get very sick ingesting food or drink from that part of the world.

I second that. You can bring sealed packages from the ship sometimes. My suggestion is take short tours so she does not tire and she can eat on the ship. Buy the bottle water as you leave the ship or refill a bootle that you brought.
