RDeagazio Posted November 7, 2006 #12 Share Posted November 7, 2006 The pictures you have taken are great!!!! The cruises you have been on and are going on....I am sooooo jealous. Can you tell me what you thought of the QM2? Thanks. I'm assuming you are a ta??? Maggie, the QM2 was horrible!! Very cheap decor-- a lot of plastic -- a la Carnival and not very lavishly decorated like you'd expect a grand ocean liner to be. The food and service were also terrible. We had clients spend BIG $$ on a Penthouse when the ship was on the West Coast and they said "never again". We get a lot of complaints on this ship and line.. so much so that we don't advertise their cruises anymore. The sales dept is also very difficult to work with. RDeagazio Posted November 7, 2006 #14 Share Posted November 7, 2006 I don't know wich is the cat. SO.. I have Cat. L Cat. SO are Superior Ocean View-- on deck 9... you have a Cat. L inside which is nothing more than a closet with 2 beds, small desk and tv. In my opinion the SO cabins are the best deals on the ship when you compare what you get for a little more money. There's so much to do on the SOS, you probably won't be in the cabin much anyway... enjoy your cruise.
