DLaForce Posted January 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2007 I have been on RCCL, Celebrity and Windstar but this is the first time on Disney. My kids - 3 and 5 - are very excited to go. My question is around ground transportation after the cruise has finished. We will be visting family beforehand so we don't need to worry about the transportation to the ship. Can you purchase half a transfer? Should we try to catch a cab to the airport?
RB Bonzo Posted January 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2007 that would be a very expensive cab ride; I think you'd be better off w/ a 1 way car rental.
edd1 Posted January 12, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2007 You can find a car service on the net for around $90 - $100 one way. Taxi's will charge you a little over $100. Disney charge to return for your family of 4 would be $136.00. You are better off going to the net and looking for transportation to pick you up should you prefer that route. Can you purchase half a transfer? Should we try to catch a cab to the airport? Don't even think about a cab. I'd recommend a reputable shuttle service like Tiffany Towncar or Art's Shuttle for the best fare. You also can book Disney Cruise Line transfers one way, which do cost more than other companies; they show a video during the ride to continue "the magic".
