Freeport & Nassau

Have you dove either of these ports. And if you have who did you use, and were they worth it. We Will be in Nassau for 24 hours, we would like to do a 3 tank and a night dive. Do you know of any dive shops that will do this?? Were going in Oct. 2004. Thanks for any help you can give.

The ONLY place I use in Nassau is Nasau Dive Center. They are the BEST. The dive masters are friendly and help out to find fish and sharks (if you want). I have dived with them about 7 times so far, and I have never been disappointed.

As for Freeport, there is a great one. UNEXSO. Theo's wreck is an awsome wreck dive.

Have a great time. I will be diving also in October.

we have change our cruise..... we are now going with Sovereign of the Sea. So who has dove Coco Cay? Is it worth it and the price & what type of dive is it(shore or boat), and does anyone have pictures of their dive there.

We will be in Nassau and would like to dive. I checked-out the Nassau Dive Center's website and it looks like we may not have enough time in port to use them. We are there from 8am-2pm. Do you know if they can be flexible w/ cruise passangers?

Hello, my husband and I would like to snorkel...any recommendations? We would like something that we could book on our own and/or not have to take a cab etc.... I think we might use Stuart Coves in Nassau but are at a loss for Freeport. I welcome suggestions and ideas. Thank you.

I am having alot of problems getting a dive lined up in nassau also. We are there from 1pm till midnight. I contacted about 6 or so shops and all of them have thier afternoon trips earlier than I would be able to get off the ship. Also, alot of the shops don't offer night dives during the summer and the few that do will only do it if you have a group of 6-8 or more people.
