Cruising Hawaii - Port or Starboard?

Which side of the ship provides a better view of the islands while cruising -port or starboard? Thanks!

I'll probably get flamed for this....

 

Book whatever cabin is best for your budget. When there is something to see, go up (or down) to the Promenade Deck and look at it.

We just got off the POH, on the port side you will see the Napalli(sp) coast better, but the rest of the time you are cruising at night, so there isn't too much to see. In port, on the port side you will be looking at the ship yards and other commercial properties. So I really don't think it matters much.

Find Beachchicks review. She provided an unbelievable amount of information including what is the best side at each port, you can then decide what you want to see.

We live in Hawaii and one of the local TAs that we booked through recommends the port side for your first reason.

 

When you go to view the lava, they said the ship will turn so both sides get a good look.
