isujim Posted March 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2007 Friend of mine is taking a cruise this summer on the Rhapsody........he was wondering if the Rhapsody has a dedicated poker room. It has been several years since I have been on this ship and I don't recall a dedicated poker room but told him I would ask......... Cheezy21 Posted March 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2007 Unfortunately I cannot really help with this...but I was just wondering the same this morning about AOS. I am pretty sure that they don't, but I would think something would be in the plans...?
Rare DCPIV Posted March 6, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 6, 2007 I haven't heard anything about that, but I sail on the Rhapsody this Sunday. If it isn't there now, I imagine it won't be for a while, since she just got out of dry dock. When I was on the Rhapsody a couple years ago, there was none. cb at sea Posted March 6, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 6, 2007 No special room for poker--just a table in the casino!
isujim Posted March 6, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted March 6, 2007 My friend thought something was set up in a Champagne area or something like that............guess he was mistaken........ Thanks
Rare DCPIV Posted March 6, 2007 #6 Share Posted March 6, 2007 I've heard that some ships with cigar rooms also have poker tables. Perhaps that is what your friend was thinking about. D

big_j Posted March 6, 2007 #8 Share Posted March 6, 2007 Anyone know if they will have a poker tournament?? We were on the Rhapsody in early December. They had a Texas Hold 'em table in the casino. They had a tournament one afternoon (which basically used pretty much every table in the casino, so all other games stopped for a couple of hours), and another evening they had no-limits hold 'em. Other than those two special events, it was just regular Hold 'em on the one table. I also saw a note that someone was hosting Texas Hold 'Em in the card room every evening, but I never dropped by so I don't know how that was organised (if at all).
