How large are the taxis - how long did you have to wait??thanks The Ferry's are quite large holding 300-400 people. Its a 20 minute run to Hamilton. Its not a wild frenzy most people are taking the bus to the Beaches and they will ply on extra buses which can be a wild frenzy. www.seaexpress.bm
RareBird Posted March 16, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2007 no frenzy. people split between excursions, beaches, buses and ferries. Plus, ferries are huge boats with covered and open decks for seating.
BrynnP Posted March 30, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 30, 2007 Yes, it's a 20 minutes ferry ride from Kings Wharf to Hamilton. But what I wish I had known before I did this was that it takes 20 minutes to fill the ferry and another 20 minutes to unload (about 400 people). We devoted 60 minutes each way to our ferry transport to and from Kings Wharf. With only a 1/2 day stop in Bermuda, I really wish I'd known I was going to loose two precious hours of my time sitting on a ferry. I would have just relaxed and walked around the dockyard.
