ltprn Posted August 2, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2004 "Terry cloth bathrobes are available upon request from your stateroom steward for your comfort and convenience" This quote is taken straight from the PRINCESS website. Is there a charge for these bathrobes?
sue d. miller Posted August 2, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2004 No charge. When you meet your cabin steward, just ask him for the amount you need.. They do not have childrens size robes.
srphnx Posted August 2, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2004 In some cases it seems like they only .75 adult sizes too...
verwirrt Posted August 3, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 3, 2004 They have a lightweight waffleweave and a heavier plush terry. We loved the plush terry robes. No charge just keep track of them and leave them in your cabin when you depart.
isujim Posted August 3, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 3, 2004 If you requested robes on your "personalizer" do you still have to ask your cabin steward or will they be in your cabin on arrival?? Thanks Jim
sue d. miller Posted August 3, 2004 #6 Share Posted August 3, 2004 Jim, you can request them, but sometimes the info is not always relayed to the cabin steward. If they are not there, just ask!! :)

bjboothman Posted August 3, 2004 #9 Share Posted August 3, 2004 I've always wondered about the personalizer. Through 4 cruises, even though I dutifully fill out the personalizer, I've yet to find a robe or my preferred fruit :-) waiting for me. Of course it's easy to get the robes and fruit once onboard, but what's the point of filling out the personalizer? Joy
Carquay Posted August 3, 2004 #10 Share Posted August 3, 2004 Sounds like the personalizer is meant to give those of us who can't wait for their cruise something to do - like some role-playing game.;)
dog lover Posted August 4, 2004 #11 Share Posted August 4, 2004 Shortly after our arrival on the Golden a few weeks ago, our room steward brought our pre-requested robes to our room. No problem at all.
Jaxsonbrownie Posted August 4, 2004 #12 Share Posted August 4, 2004 On the Grand this past April, everything that I requested on the personalizer was there for us. The fruit, the robes, the Absolute that I pre-ordered!The steward made sure that we had fresh fruit every morning! It was just lovely!!
HighRoller Posted August 4, 2004 #13 Share Posted August 4, 2004 The robes are great especially the upgraded robes in Full Suites...but some reason Princess hasn't caught on to fabric softner...soemtimes they can be a little rough!
cruiseaway Posted August 4, 2004 #14 Share Posted August 4, 2004 On our July 11 Sapphire cruise the robe was not in our cabin as I requested on the personalizer. A quick call to our steward and it arrived. I found it very useful for going to the hot tub. It keeps you covered on the way and then when you get out it keeps you warm.
