Disadvantages to booking online?

I agree with you but I have the same problem as you. We live in a rural area and there are no B&M TA's around. How does one go about finding a GOOD TA?

The TA we're using now is a B&M in another state and we use a combination of emails, VM, and phone calls to communicate. Absolutely don't need a TA for our travel needs. We (actually, I) do everything ourselves first, and then let the TA have it. I just like the perks and very special service I've received so far. I qualify my remarks with "so far," because if the service wanes, I'm outta there. Nowadays, the only thing to distinguish one company from another IS service. I found our TA by searching folks' posts for email addresses, contacting them directly, and asking about who they used. Took awhile, but I found who I was looking for. BTW, I get things from my TA at 11 at night sometimes, so I know they work funny hours like I do.;) Good luck in your quest!
