NCL MSTRCRD-Class Action Suit - Over Charging On Foreign Transactions...

I received a CC settlement notice from Chase requesting that I list all foreign transactions for which I was charged a fee with Citibank, Chase, Diners Club, Bank One/First USA, HSBC/Household, MBNA and Washington Mutual, between February 1996 until November 2006. Given the amount of foreign travel I've done in those ten years, this is going to be a major undertaking.

If there's an issue w/ the foreign trans fee, it'll be w/ BofA, not NCL.

Very astute. It's the credit card issuer bank that's being sued, not NCL.

Besides, I haven't used the card overseas, so I don't have any foreign exchange transactions. Looks like I will not be getting anything from this lawsuit. Much ado about nothing, in my opinion.

If it's a class action suit, you'll be appropriately rewarded for your efforts, won't you? Something in the region of 42 cents?

The lawyers, of course, will have to make do with a paltry few million.

Ain't that the truth!!!

"...Visa and MasterCard have agreed to pay $32,000,000 in attorney's fees and expenses to the attorneys who, for 6 years litigated...." Defendants have agreed to a settlement fund of $336,000,000 to pay valid claims.

Given that amount, how about building a ship from the funds, and those of us who have a claim can opt into a "free" cruise of two. Now, for fun, let's name the ship. The Bounty
